Following an individual evaluation of your English skills, you are grouped by age and level. Every morning, in groups of 15 students, you have English classes with competent and enthusiastic teachers. The classes are geared towards conversational English with great projects and activities!

The counsellors will also help you speak English all day! You'll see, it is possible to have Fun in English!

Our counselling staff is composed of young men and women in their early twenties. They are usually university students specialising in the educational field. Before starting at the English Immersion Center AngloFun, counsellors must follow an intensive training session pertaining to hygiene, security, health, animation and second-language learning.

During daily weekday classes, teachers work with groups of 15 students. Our teaching staff groups qualified graduates who have extensive experience in teaching English as a second language. Teacher biographies are posted in order to enable parents as well as campers to recognise the pedagogical quality that caracterises AngloFun!

For the 6 to 8 year-olds, it is usually the first contact with a second language. It is of course preferable that participants be able to read and write a bit in their mother tongue in order to progress as quickly as possible in English, although the programme is geared towards spoken skills. At this age level the programme focusses mostly on the development of vocabulary with different themes such as animals, sports, food, etc.

For the 9 to 11 year-olds, their concentration abilities are more developped therefore they can memorise more easily. Learning English is thus facilitated. Also most students realise the importance of learning a new language.

In regard to the 12 to 14 year-old groups, these students usually come to our programme highly motivated since they themselves chose to participate. Although we receive Beginner 1 as well as Advanced students, all groups benefit from the appropriate morning classes since grammar, vocabulary and contemporary expressions are covered in a dynamic fashion.

When campers arrive there is a 30-minute orientation session where we cover activity choices, rules, programmes, etc. At this time we answer any questions the campers might have. The whole session is in English and the counsellors do supervise the campers' use of English.

From morning till after the evening snack, campers are required to speak in English at all times.  We truly take our immersion programme to heart!
